The Head of the Hooch 2016 was a great regatta for Meg and I. We set a personal record in our double on Saturday and I set also set PR in my single on Sunday. We’ve improved a LOT since we got our new Fluidesign 2x. We medaled in several of the head races we competed in this fall. We really enjoy racing our double. We even car-topped it to a couple of races that the club wasn’t participating in. We are much more confident rowers that we were, even compared to last year. The Tennessee River didn’t seem nearly as wide as it did the previous time we raced on it. It was good to end the season on a high note; but kinda sad that we won’t be out in our boat until sometime next year. Hopefully we will keep on improving.
